The 6th Annual Australian Beer Festival 2010

The 5th Annual Beer Festival in 2009 saw some of Australia’s best micro brews all in the one place, for people to see – The Iconic Australian Hotel. We had over 20 Aussie Brewers from all around the country come and showcase their beers over two fun filled days. Day one saw 7,500 people come through the entrance – beer connoisseurs, beer curious and beer lovers alike tried and tasted over 130 different Australian Brews. Although Day two was wet, it didn’t seem to deter loyal beer lovers. We had just over 2,500 people attend which saw the closure of our biggest festival to date.

Meet the Brewer sessions were always jam packed with people bursting out the door – those eager to meet some Aussie Brewing legends and upcoming stars. Among them was Chuck Hahn from James Squire Brewery, Kirrily Waldhorn – the Beer Diva and brewers from The Rocks, Blue Tongue, Fusion, 4 Pines & Matilda Bay.
